Signings at Marlboro County and Darlington

Beau Dees inks with PC

Three more student athletes in the Pee Dee signed national letters of intent on Tuesday.

At Darlington High School, WPDE Miss Hoop Zone Finalist Jazz Green signed to play college basketball at the College of Charleston. Green averaged 21 points per game with 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game in her junior season. Geren had offers from Wintrhop, Furman and Arkansas-Little Rock, but chose to play in the Southern Conference in Charleston. In addition to making the All-Hoop Zone team, Green was Class 3A All-State and MVP in her region.

At Marlboro County High, a pair of Bulldogs signed letters of intent. Pitcher Beau Dees signed with Presbyterian. He had 5 wins in his junior year with a 2.22 ERA. Softball pitcher Kayla Wright from Marlboro County signed with Barton College. Wright had 9 wins and 100 K's in her junior season on the mound and also hit .405 with 5 home runs.
