Sharks hire VA coach to take over football program

The Saint James Sharks have tabbed Mark Fischer to take over their football program. Fischer, replaces Billy Hurston, who resigned after becoming the Sharks first head coach seven years ago.

Fischer arrives in Murrells Inlet from Louisa County in Virginia. Last season his team went 11-1 and compiled a 58-21 record since 2004. WPDE Sports Mark Haggard attended the press conference to introduce Fischer reporting that his teams averaged over 30 poitns a game with an emphasis on defense and running the football. In addition, Fischer's offense has averaged over 3,000 yards a season in recent years.
