North All-Stars beat South All-Stars 38-21

Marlboro County's Ronheen Bingham was named South All-Star defensive MVP.

The North All-Stars scored 21 consecutive points to top the South 38-21 in the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach. The North raced out to a 17-0 halftime lead before the South took a 21-17 lead on a blocked punt that was scooped up by Marlboro County's Ronheen Bingham that he ran 35 yards for a score to give the South its first lead early in the fourth quarter.

But the North took the lead for good on York running back Ryan Moore's second TD run of the game. The North added a defensive touchdown by Blythewood's Jalen Williams and the scoring was closed out by a Dre Massey 74 yard TD pass to Hyleck Foster.

Nine WPDE All-Zoners played in the game. Bingham was named South defensive MVP with 8 tackles, 2 sacks and his punt block return TD. Loris Lion Quavon Bellamy had six tackles and a tackle for loss. Arkealious Williams of Johnsonville had 4 tackles with Dontez Rogers and Laquan Haigler of Hartsville and Anthony Blue of Dillon all chipping in with two tackles each. Rogers had an interception in the first half, his first pick of the season. On offense, Conway's Ikeem Coles had one catch for 6 yards.
