The Conway Tigers boys basketball team defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks 54-43 at Myrtle Beach High on Saturday night.
The game was tied at halftime. That's when Myrtle Beach wrestler Jonathan Iseman took over. He said he had not shot a basketball since he was a toddler. The teenager was allowed three shots to make one from half court for a Sonic voucher for free food for one year.
Iseman only needed two shots. On his second attempt, Iseman banked it off the backboard and into the net.
With the game tied 22-all at the half, Conway's Jalen Hennigan came out on fire. He hit four 3-pointers to help the Tigers pull away. Hennigan finished with 12 points, teammate Jamil Cooper had 13.
In the girls game, Tanisha Brown scored 21 points to lead the Myrtle Beach Lady Seahawks past Conway 45-36.
