In the girls championship game, Goose Creek 8th grader Ericka Broughton hit an old-fashioned three point play with just 2.9 seconds left in regulation to help the Lady Gators to a 44-43 win in the Shootout by the Sea.

Taylor Allman led North Myrtle Beach with 17 points. Teammate India Farmer had 15. Goose Creek's Ashley Fields scored a game-high 23 points and was named Shootout by the Sea MVP.

In other tournament action, Archbishop Carroll (PA) rallied from 15 points down at halftime to beat King's Fork (VA) 55-48 in the CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational championship game.

Jess Carney hit six 3-point field goals to lead all scorers with 19 points. Archbishop Carroll outscored King's Fork 35-13 in the second half.
