Thu, 16 Aug 2012 22:35:50 GMT — Hannah-Pamplico Red Raiders 2011 Record: 4-6 Offense: 10.4 ppg (31st in Zone Nation) Defense: 22.2 ppg (18th) Returning Starters: Offense 8 Defense 8 Hags Thoughts Hannah-Pamplico's first order of business is to get back to the playoffs for the first time in three years. WR/LB Ketron Belin is a gamebreaker. QB/DB Ryan Mays returns for his senior season ready to kick-start an offense that scored only ten points a game last season. HP could be the darkhorse in Region 8-1A with 16 of 21 starters returning. Rich's Thoughts I think the playoffs are a realistic goal for the Red Raiders. Belin's a guy on our All-Zone radar and I am interested to see how Ryan Mays is utilized. I say this because his goal is to throw for 1,000 yards and also get 500 yards receiving. It's not everyday you see a QB/WR/DB combo. It's also important for HP to not get down in the dumps early with two tough games to open (Mullins, Darlington). The wins should come if this team can weather the early storm. Click here to see HP's 2012 schedule and player profiles
