Four local teams finish in top 10 at 3A state golf

AC Flora continues its dominance in 3A boys golf. The Falcons won the 3A state championship for a fourth consecutive year at Coastal Carolina's Hackler Course on Tuesday. AC Flora topped Hilton Head by three strokes to take the crown. Saint James and Socastee were paired with Hilton Head and AC Flora in the final group. The Sharks finished in fourth place, while Socastee slid down to 8th place. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks were able to surge to a tie for 6th. Hartsville scored a tenth place finish.

Greenville junior Keenan Huskey won the individual title shooting -1 under par for 36 holes. Three local golfers finished in a tie for 10th individually, gaining All-State honors: Lyle Ciardi and Alan Crum of Saint James, along with Myrtle Beach's Mark Karavan all shot +11 155.
