      Creek Bridge Warriors 2012 Preview

      Creek Bridge Warriors

      2011 Record: 0-10

Offense: 7.4 ppg (33rd in Zone Nation)

      Defense: 41.0 ppg (33rd)

Returning Starters: Offense 6 Defense 9

      Hags Thoughts

Creek Bridge is heading in a new direction. Former Wilson assistant Mark McClain takes over a Warriors program that went winless in 2011. His first order of business is to get his players to believe that they can win. QB Rashawn Rogers is a building block on an offense that returns six starters. The big plus is that nine starters are back on defense that boasts a pair of 300 pounders. This is a senior heavy team that could surprise some teams in Region 8-1A.

      Rich's Thoughts

The Warriors were in good spirits at Zone Media Day and have already developed a great relationship with their new coach. It's a great challenge to build a strong program in 1A football, especially in our area where there are so many strong 1A football programs. I hope the Creek Bridge fans come out and support these kids on Friday night's. Some great atmosphere in Centenary will only help Creek Bridge get in the win column and help build a solid program.
