Carolina Forest falls to 0-2 after loss to Ft. Dorchester

Harold Atkinson scored two times for Carolina Forest in a loss to Ft. Dorchester

The Fort Dorchester Patriots beat the Carolina Forest Panthers 41-21 on Saturday night at Big Cat Stadium at Carolina Forest High School.

Fort Dorchester was led by quarterback Baptiste Staggers who accounted for four Patriots touchdowns. Staggers threw for 157 yards and two TD's. He ran for 59 yards and scored two more times on the ground. Daitwan Commodore led the Patriots ground game with 142 yards, including a 92 yard TD scamper late in the contest.

Carolina Forest QB Will Brunson completed 10 of 14 passes for 101 yards with one touchdown pass and one interception. Panthers WPDE All-Zone running back Harold Atkinson caught one TD pass and ran for another. Atkinson was held to just 66 yards rushing and 30 yards receiving.

One bright spot for the Carolina Forest defense was Marvin Taylor's 82 yard fumble return for a score.

Carolina Forest is now 0-2. They will play at St. James next Friday, August 31.
