MB tops Knights 21-14 to improve to 2-0

Trell Harrell had a 94 yard kickoff return to start the game

CJ Cooper's 3rd quarter touchdown run proved to be the game winner as Myrtle Beach topped West Florence 21-14 at Memorial Stadium on Thursday night. The Seahawks were playing their second game in five days. After coming from 12 points down to stun Irmo at home on Saturday night, Myrtle Beach showed no ill effects from the short turnaround as Trell Harrell took the opening kickoff 94 yards to give the Seahawks a 6-0 advantage right out of the gate. West Florence took a 14-13 lead at the half on a Garrett Chapman one yard run out of the Wildcat. Cooper had a 39 yard run in the third to set up his game winning score. The Seahawks added a two point conversion to close out the scoring.

Myrtle Beach improves to 2-0 on the season, while West Florence is now 1-1.
