      Rich's Take

Bradley Adams is one of South Carolina's great young high school football coaches. He was in the running for the Hilton Head job and it was a great win for Georgetown that he withdrew his name from consideration. I love how candid coach Adams is about the youth on his team and how he's not making any excuses about it. The great coaches can take a team without the superstar talent and get the absolute most out of them and win games they shouldn't. I won't be surprised at all if Georgetown sneaks up on somebody this year. Jordan Ward is versatile, you can tell that watching his highlight reel below. Ward is the top returning tackler in the Zone Nation with 150 stops last year. He's gotten early interest from Georgia Southern, South Carolina and Clemson and no offers yet. A big season season will change that for sure. I think that Michael Billings will step in for Julian Lunsford and be a workhorse in the backfield.

      Worth a Watch

Georgetown locked into a third seed in the 2012 playoffs with a shootout win over Wilson. Watching the Bulldogs crank out 49 points in Florence was certainly a big highlight of last season. Watch Georgetown's 49-42 win over Wilson from 2012.
