PGA Championship coming to Kiawah Island

The 94th PGA Championship is coming to the Palmetto State. The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island will host the world's top golfers from August 6th through 12th. Tickets are already sold out for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets remain available for the practice rounds and the first day of the tournament on Thursday. The Ocean Course rose to fame in 1991 when it hosted the Ryder Cup. 2011 PGA champion Keegan Bradley was on hand to look ahead to the event along with designer Pete Dye. Dye shot below his age of 86 during the media round featuring 10 pars. Bradley said he made five birdies on a layout that is currently rated the toughest golf course in the United States.
Following his media sessions, Bradley hit golf balls into Charleston Harbor, The PGA Championship's estimated economic impact is $193 million dollars to the state of South Carolina.
