Sun, 20 May 2012 05:39:30 GMT —
Darlington native Orlando Hudson has signed with the Chicago White Sox according to the team. Hudson was released earlier in the week by the San Diego Padres.
Hudson, 34, has hit just .211 this season with one home run and 11 RBI with the Padres. O-Dog is a two-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner. He was making $5.5 million dollars this season with a $2 million dollar buyout next year.
This will be the fifth different team in five seasons for Hudson.
