      Hartsville's Jordan Lyles beats World Champs

      Jordan Lyles picked up his 2nd big league win on Saturday night.

      Former Hartsville Red Foxes star Jordan Lyles won the second big league game of his career for the Houston Astros, in a 7-5 victory over the defending world champion San Francisco Giants on Saturday night at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

      Lyles pitched five innings, allowed no earned runs and struck out four to imrove his record to 2-7. He also contributed at the plate with a hit and a run scored for the Astros. Lyles next start is scheduled for next Thursday, August 25th against the Giants in San Francisco.
