CCU soccer gets home NCAA game for third straight year

Coastal Carolina will host East Tennessee State in an opening round NCAA men's soccer match on Thursday at 7pm. The Chanticleers get a home game in the NCAA opening round for the third straight year. If CCU can beat ETSU, the Chanticleers will travel to Charlotte on Sunday in the 2nd round. The 49ers beat the Chanticleers in Conway 2-1 early in the 2013 season.

East Tennessee State won the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament wiht a 3-1 win over North Florida. The Chanticleers won the Big South with a 2-0 win over Liberty on Sunday in Greensboro. Shaun Docking's team is 17-4 and rated 12th in the latest national polls. The Chanticleers have now made four straight NCAA appearances, and nine total appearances in Docking's tenure.
