ess than one week before the NFL Draft, Lorenzo Taliaferro is working hard to stay in shape. The 230 pound running back out of Coastal Carolina is being trained by former Socastee High football star and WPDE All-Zone selection Terrance Butler.
Butler runs the Enhanced Speed and Agility training facility in Myrtle Beach. As the name suggests, Butler helps athletes improve on those categories and more.
Taliaferro, who will graduate from Coastal Carolina on Saturday, May 10, says he is projected to be picked anywhere from the 4th to the 7th round of the NFL Draft.
He has made his mark at CCU by setting single season records for rushing yards with 1,729, and touchdowns with 27. Zo was named first-team All-Big South Conference, and second team FCS All-American.
Now, Taliaferro will wait for his phone to ring during the NFL Draft which begins May 8. Taliaferro said, "I'm just trying to keep grinding, make sure I'm in shape, so if I do get that call, I'm in the best shape of my life."
