NFL Week 13: Grand Strand & Pee Dee Performances

Mike Tolbert rolled up 89 total yards for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Former Coastal Carolina fullback Mike Tolbert gained 89 total yards for the Carolina Panthers in a 27-6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tolbert had nine carries for 48 yards, and three receptions for 41 yards. He also made a tackle.

Ex-Coastal wide receiver Jerome Simpson had three catches for 76 yards for the Minnesota Vikings in a 23-20 overtime win against the Chicago Bears.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Junior Hemingway, who played at Conway High, had three receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown in a 35-28 loss to the Denver Broncos. Denver defensive end Robert Ayers out of Marlboro County High had one tackle.

Malliciah Goodman made two tackles for the Atlanta Falcons in a 34-31 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills. Goodman played at West Florence High and Clemson.

Arizona Cardinals defensive end John Abraham, who played high school football at Lamar, had three tackles, including a sack, in a 24-21 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Teammate Jaron Brown out of Cheraw had one catch for six yards.

Ryan Quigley of the New York Jets had seven punts for a 45.1 yard average, one inside the 20, with a long of 51 in a 23-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Quigley was a high school standout at North Myrtle Beach High.

On Thursday night, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons from Wilson High in Florence, had eight tackles in a 22-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
