Gamecocks, Clemson & CCU to clash at NCAA Baseball Regional

The NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament pairings have been released. The South Carolina Gamecocks (40-17) will host the Columbia Regional as the #8 National Seed. South Carolina will play the Manhattan Jaspers (33-25) at 4 p.m. on Friday at Carolina Stadium. The contest will be televised on ESPNU/ESPN3.

The Clemson Tigers (33-26) are a #2 seed in the Columbia Regional. They will play the #3 seed Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (41-17) at noon on Friday. The game can be seen on ESPNU/ESPN3.

64 teams across the nation have been invited to the NCAA Tournament throughout 16 regional sites, playing a double-elimination format. The regionals are scheduled for Friday, June 1, through Monday, June 4 (if necessary). Selection of the eight super regional hosts will be announced on on June 4 at approximately 11 p.m. ET.

The 66th Menâ??s College World Series begins play Friday, June 15, at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
