The South Carolina Gamecocks ended a 5-game losing streak with a 3-2 win at Auburn. Freshman Jordan Gore, a product of Conway High, drove in the game-winner in the 9th inning.
Auburn won game one of the twinbill 4-2.
Trailing 2-0 in game two, Gene Cone's RBI single pushed Grayson Greiner across to cut the Auburn lead to one. In the 9th, Cone, who was 3-for-4 on the day, also drove in the game-tying run to set the stage for Gore's game-winning hit.
Hartsville's Cody Mincey pitched one inning of shutout ball in relief to pick up the victory.
South Carolina improved to 29-10 overall, 9-8 in the SEC.
In Pittsburgh, the Clemson Tigers scored three runs in the first inning, capped off by a two-run single by Steve Wilkerson on the way to a 3-0 win over the Pitt Panthers.
Daniel Gossett went the distance for Clemson (24-14, 12-7 ACC). He allowed just three hits and struck out seven batters to improve his record to 5-0.
In Myrtle Beach, The Costal Carolina Chanticleers completed a three-game sweep with a 9-3 win over the Presbyterian Blue Hose at Pelicans Ballpark.
CCU rallied from a 3-1 deficit. Pinch-hitter Kyle Jackson had an RBI double in the sixth inning to score Richard Carter to make it 4-3 Coastal.
Coastal added five more runs in the eighth, highlighted by a 3-run homer by Connor Owings.
The Chanticleers overall record is now 20-21, 11-7 in the Big South Conference. CCU is the leader in the South Division of the Big South by two games over second place Winthrop.
