      College Hoops: CCU beats Radford

      The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers beat the Radford Highlanders 62-52 behind 22 points from senior guard Anthony Raffa, and 11 rebounds from freshman Michel Enanga.

      Before a crowd of 2,107 at the HTC Center in Conway, South Carolina, Coastal took a 4-3 lead early in the game and never trailed.

      Kierre Greenwood was cold from the field, but hit 7-of-9 free throws to finish with 15 points for CCU. The Chants shot 38.5 percent from the field. But Radford hit just 28.6 percent from the field, thanks to solid defense by Coastal.

      Javonte Green was the only Radford player in double figures in scoring. He finished with a dozen points.

      Coastal improves their overall record to 10-10, 5-4 in the Big South Conference. The Chants have won seven straight home games, and are now 9-2 at the HTC Center.

      CCU will play Big South Conference South Division leader Charleston Southern on Wednesday, February 6. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at The HTC Center in Conway.
