College Baseball: Clemson & CCU sweep series

The Clemson Tigers freshman Steven Duggar hit a walk-off 2-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning to beat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons 6-4 on Sunday, before a crowd of 4,870 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. The Tigers swept the series 3-0 and won their 10th game in a row, improving to 26-11 overall and 12-6 in the ACC.

In Rock Hill, South Carolina, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers beat the Winthrop Eagles 4-3. Ted Blackman homered and drove in three runs for Coastal Carolina. CCU won its ninth straight game, and swept the series. The Chants improved their overall record to 24-12, 10-2 in the Big South Conference.
