Carolinas Junior PGA Champions crowned in Conway

Julian Keur won the overall boys division at the Carolinas Junior PGA Championship.

Julian Keur from the Charleston area, and Victoria Huskey from Greenville, South Carolina won the 2014 Carolinas Junior PGA Championship on Sunday at The Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University in Conway.

Keur, who graduated from Ft. Dorchester High, shot consecutive rounds of 3-under par 69 to finish 6-under for the 36-hole tournament. Keur won the overall boys division by two strokes. He will play college golf next season at Charleston Southern.

15-year old Patrick Golden from Murrells Inlet finished tied for second. Golden, who attends Waccamaw High, shot back-to-back rounds of 70 to end the tournament at 4-under par.

Huskey won the overall girls division by seven strokes. She carded rounds of 69 and 70 to finish the tournament 5-under par.

Both Keur and Huskey qualified for the Junior PGA Championship at Miramont Country Club in Bryan/College Station, Texas July 29-August 1.
