Waters comes back home for camp

Anthony Waters was a tall, skinny tackling machine and big play running back for the Lake View Wild Gators. The 2001 WPDE Zoneman Finalist went on to an outstanding career with the Clemson Tigers at linebacker and a four year NFL stint with the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints. He had 14 tackles in 20 career NFL games and earned a Super Bowl ring with the Saints.

Today, Waters is 29 years old, has three children and working as a coach at the Bullis School, a private institution in Potomac, Maryland. Waters is doing it all - from baseball and basketball to lacrosse and track. He told WPDE's Mark Haggard that Bullis is in the same league as Sidwell Friends, the private school that is home to President Obama's children Sasha and Malia. Waters said he's never seen anything like the security the secret service does when the two schools play each other.

Waters younger brother is Darius Leonard, a 2012 WPDE All-Zoner who is on his way to play college football at South Carolina State.
