Whip Up Your Weekend: Snickerdoodle cookies, (Sydney Glenn/WPDE)

Snickerdoodle cookies are an easy holiday treat. Chef Geoff Blount shares his favorite cookie recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 stick Sweet Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Cream ingredients.
  • 2 Eggs
  • Add one at a time.
  • 2 ½ CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1 tsp Cream of tartar
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbls Sugar
  • 4 Tbls Cinnamon

Directions:

  • Mix dry ingredients and then add to liquid ingredients.
  • Scoop cookies and roll in cinnamon sugar
  • Bake 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • 8-10 minutes.
