Whip Up Your Weekend: holiday leftovers pasta salad, (Sydney Glenn/ WPDE)

The holidays are a time when families and friends get together. Those gatherings usually include a lot of food. Chef Geoff Blount shares a recipe to make your leftovers into something new.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey
  • 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
  • 2 cups cubed Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup steamed and cooled broccoli florets
  • 1 (16 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Combine pasta, chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, and broccoli in a large bowl.
  • Set aside.
  • Blend honey, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, onion, and Parmesan in a bowl.
  • Stir in parsley.
  • Stir dressing into the pasta.
  • Chill salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
