Tornado Watch in effect for coastal counties

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 8pm for Horry and Georgetown counties.
A line of showers and storms is moving through the Grand Strand as of 5:30pm. They are producing heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. The line moves out to sea by 6pm. Despite the watch officially in effect until 8pm, the threat will be over by 6pm.
