Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit has arrested a Supply man for two counts of attempted murder after firing a weapon into an occupied vehicle.
William Calvin Steward, 36, of Eastfield Lane in Supply, has been charged with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury, two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, one count of Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Moving Vehicle, and one count of Maiming without Malice.
BCSO says it occurred Friday night around 11 p.m at Stewards home on Eastfield Lane. The victims were at the residence attending a party.
Steward is currently being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000 bond, according to BCSO.
