New lottery ticket features Honda ATVs made in Pee Dee

A new lottery ticket in South Carolina shines a spotlight on the Honda of South Carolina plant in Timmonsville.

The South Carolina Education Lottery and Honda of SC teamed up for a first-of-its-kind partnership to launch the new Honda instant ticket on Tuesday at lottery retailers statewide.

The promotion will award Honda ATVs manufactured in the Pee Dee, according to a news release.

Honda, with a top prize of $75,000, offers a second-chance opportunity for players to enter to win a Honda Rancher 4X4 manufactured at the Timmonsville plant.

15 signature red Honda Rancher 4X4s with electric start and power steering will be awarded, according to the release.

"Honda of South Carolina is pleased to partner with the SC Education Lottery. This is an excellent opportunity to support education for South Carolinians. Furthermore it provides an avenue for 15 fortunate individuals to experience the joys in owning a Honda ATV built right here in SC," said Brian Newman, President of Honda of South Carolina Mfg., Inc.

Tickets are $3.
