The primary elections are Tuesday, June 8 in South Carolina.

Tuesday night, Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley spoke at a GOP dinner in Florence.

Haley talked about her humble beginnings to becoming a representative in the state house.

This week, political blogger Will Folks announced on his website he had an inappropriate physical relationship with Haley several years ago.

Haley says she's been faithful to her husband of 13 years and will not focus on any last minute distractions.

She said, " We were shocked as anybody else last week to see that we had double digit leads in the poll. We celebrated for about five minutes and then we realized that we better brace ourselves, because we knew we had the target on our back. I will tell you this, we issued the statement yesterday, and I stay very true to that statement. I am very focused on this campaign. I will not be distracted."

Haley says for the next two weeks, she will continue to focus on issues that matter.
