The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery.
The armed robbery occurred at 5190 Highway 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet around 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to Carrie Cuthbertson, spokesperson for GCSO.
Cuthbertson says a man entered the business through an unlocked front door and pointed what appeared to be a hand gun at the victim and demanded money.
The suspect took off with an unknown amount of cash in an unknown direction.
No one was injured.
Deputies describe the suspect as an African-American man, around 6'0" tall, wearing a black or blue bandana and is believed to be driving a gold Impala.
