Aunt under arrest for AMBER Alert hoax

A Pickens County woman is under arrest, charged with filing a false police report that led to a statewide AMBER Alert Wednesday.
Deputies say they received a call from Lisa Jordan, 40, of Easley about 7 am Wednesday that two children had been kidnapped by their mother, Keyly Wade, from her home. Jordan is the aunt of Kynadi Manley, 1, and Alexis Manley, 2.
Detectives say they determined that Jordan had filed a false report, and she now faces felony charges for that. The AMBER Alert was cancelled. They say Jordan and Wade came up with the idea for Wade to take the children and leave the state to avoid a Department of Social Services investigation.
Investigators believe the children may be with their mother, Keyly Wade, and their grandmother, Belinda Marie Wade
WYFF in Greenville reports that family members of Wade sent a text to Wade to ask if the children were okay, and received a reply of "yes." Click here for that story.
Deputies are working with out of state authorities to determine the location and well being of the children.
