The report was filed on March 1, according to Captain David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

On March 4, Ebony Wilkerson, 32, of Cross, South Carolina near Charleston drove her minivan into the ocean in Daytona Beach.

Wilkerson is now undergoing a mental health evaluation.

Witnesses say the Wilkerson intentionally drove the minivan into the water.

According to witnesses, one of the three kids in the backseat were screaming to rescuers that their mom was trying to kill them.

Several hours before, her sister in Florida had called 9-1-1 to report Wilkerson was suffering from some sort of mental illness.

On the 9-1-1 call, her sister said, "She's having psychosis or something or post partem." And she went on to say, "I tried to take her to the hospital yesterday and she signed herself out today. She did get a little bit better but she's still not all here." When asked by a dispatcher what Wilkerson was doing, her sister replied, "She's talking about Jesus and that there are demons in my house and that I'm trying to control her, but I'm trying to keep them safe."

When three men dove into the surf to rescue Wilkerson and her three children in the van, they said she looked mentally disturbed and fought with them in the surf.

All three of Wilkerson's children are safe and in protective custody.
