The parents of two-year-old Sincere Smith, who accidentally killed himself with his father's gun in December, are now facing charges concerning their youngest child.
Lakisha Brown and Rondell Smith were booked in J. Reuben Long Detention Center Tuesday and face charges of Unlawful Neglect of a Child.
Brown and Smith's daughter tested positive for cocaine and marijuana, according to an Horry County police incident report.
Although police would not release the age of the daughter, from previous encounters with the family, NewsChannel 15 knows the girl is younger than two.
Department of Social Services asked that a drug test be done on the child because of a prior history at the home.
The drug test indicated that the young girl had inhalation exposure of cocaine and inhalation as well as ingestion of marijuana.
The girl was taken into DSS custody.
Brown and Smith posted a bail of $10,000 each Tuesday.
Smith was previously charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case of his son's death.
