YMCA open house lets you try classes for free

If you ever wanted to try out some of the classes held at the YMCA in Myrtle Beach, this weekend is your chance to try them for free.

The Coastal Carolina YMCA is hosting an open house on Saturday.

You can see which classes best fit your schedule or your interests.

You can also learn about some of the newer exercise trends hitting the Grand Strand.

Piloxing is a combination of boxing, pilates and dance. The YMCA also has classes on Bokwa and Insanity.

The open house coincides with the start of the new school year, according to Deane Vinson with the YMCA. Staff want families to continue or start up their fitness routines now that students are back in class.

Saturday's open house is from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the facility at 5000 Claire Chapin Epps Drive.

Everyone is welcome to bring their kids, families and friends.
