Wreck involving semi impacts traffic on two interstates

Wednesday morning

, according to Captain Anthony Fox with the West Florence Fire Department.

Crews arrived on scene to find an 18-wheeler that had left the roadway and subsequently caught fire, Fox added.

A fuel tank separated from the 18-wheeler and caused a grass fire in the median between the two interstates, causing 150 gallons of diesel fuel to spill.

No injuries were reported.

DHEC responded due to the fuel spill.

Corporal Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of the tractor trailer has been charged with Driving To Fast for Conditions.

The driver's name is not being released just yet.
