Wounded Warriors from Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington are in Myrtle Beach. This morning they had breakfast at Blackwater Middle School.

The students had a chance to talk to the soldiers and hear about their experiences in war and recover.

Later today the men and women will head to Broadway at the Beach for lunch at Margaritaville.

Fellow veterans from groups like the American Legion and VFW welcomed the soldiers into town last night.

They lined the streets with flags and gave them commemorative coins.

The Wounded Warriors program is set up to allow the soldiers to enjoy some time outside of the hospital.

The Wounded Warriors will be on the Grand Strand all week.

NewsChannel 15 will be following their visit. You can stay updated right here on your website,
