A 29-year-old woman said she was robbed while collecting sea shells in Myrtle Beach Monday morning, according to a police report.
The victim told Myrtle Beach police officers she was on the beach near 2400 N. Ocean Boulevard sometime between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m.
She said she felt someone grab her and throw her to the ground, then she was hit on her forehead.
The man stole her purse, credit cards, driver's license, medications and her asthma inhaler, according to the report.
The victim said before he ran off south bound on the beach, he stomped on her chest.
The woman was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for her injuries.
No arrests have been made.
