A Myrtle Beach woman is being charged after two girls in her care tested positive for narcotics, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.
Amanda Vanhorn, 26, of Myrtle Beach was arrested Friday and faces two charges of Unlawful Neglect of a Child.
Myrtle Beach police officers were called to the home on Sessions Street for a report of child abuse on August 26.
There they met an agent with the Department of Social Services.
Officers discovered two girls tested positive for narcotics in a mandated drug screening by DSS, according to the police report.
The report adds one of the children was there at the time and placed into protective custody.
Vanhorn is being held without bond in the Myrtle Beach Jail.
