      Wednesday's high winds cause damage

The high winds caused a little bit of damage across the Pee Dee and the Grand Strand.

In Florence, the wind wrecked havoc, splitting a tree in half Wednesday on Pettigrew Avenue near Maple Park.

Across town on Hobart Drive, the wind bounced someone's trampoline over a backyard fence and into the roadway.

Closer to the coast, a house in Horry County suffered significant damage after high winds caused this tree to fall just before 6 pm Wednesday.

The owners were inside the home, located off Brown's Way Shortcut Road but luckily, they were not hurt.

Firefighters say the entire roof will have to be replaced.
