Water pressure problems shut down Andrews schools

The Georgetown County School District says water pressure problems have led to the cancellation of school Friday for students at Andrews Elementary, Rosemary Middle and Andrews High.

Buses will be running on a two-hour delay, picking up children who are already at the bus stop and have no one at home to watch over them, said Spokesman Ray White.

The children who are at already at school or who are picked up on the buses, will be taken care of at the schools. Afternoon buses will leave the schools beginning at Noon. Employees should report at 9:30 a.m.
