A small plane went down about 9 p.m. Wednesday night and slammed into a mobile home in North Myrtle Beach.
It happened at the Creekside Mobile Home Park off Little River Neck Road.
The small private plane had just taken off from Grand Strand Airport in North Myrtle Beach. According to Myrtle Beach International Airport, the plane had dropped off radar just before the crash.
Two people were inside the mobile home when the plane hit it. Both of them were taken to the hospital. The man had minor injuries, and the woman was taken as a precaution.
No one on the plane has been accounted for. Officials are still trying to determine how many people were on the plane, but believe there is at least one fatality.
Rick Buddelmeyer the acting Public Safety Director for North Myrtle Beach says the plane came in over a tree line, slammed right into the ground right at the base of a mobile home, and slid under the house.
Witnesses at the scene told NewsChannel 15 they heard a loud explosion that shook nearby homes.
The FAA and NTSB have been called in to investigate.
