Florence police have charged Dyesha Pressley, 22 and Antoinette Johnson, 22, with Hindering an Investigation involving a double shooting at Mount Zion Apartments last Thursday in Florence.

Major Carlos Raines with Florence Police said three men shot a man at the apartments during an attempted robbery.

There was a struggle and the victim and one of the suspects were shot. Both are expected to be OK.

Raines said Pressley is the girlfriend of the victim. He says she removed a handgun and marijuana from the home before police arrived on the scene.

Raines said she took it to Johnson's apartment where Johnson flushed the drugs down the toilet and got rid of the gun.

Florence Police charged Demetrious Sparks, 20, with Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime last Friday in connection with the shooting.

Police say they're looking for Johnathan Calvin Weeks in connection with the shooting. Officers say they have warrants to charge Weeks with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

This investigation is still ongoing.
