Two turn themselves in for Loris shooting

Loris Police Chief Joe Vaught says David Hemingway, 20, and Xavier Hemingway, 17, both of Tabor City, turned themselves in Monday

after an incident that happened on Watson Street on August 9

. Both face six charges of Attempted Murder and a Burglary Charge.

Chief Vaught says a number of people approached a home on Watson Street about 4:30 a.m. on August 9 and started shooting.

One man was wounded. He was treated at a Loris hospital.

Amanda Hardee turned herself in on six charges of Attempted Murder last week. Christopher Green turned himself into Columbus County authorities, as well. He is awaiting extradition.

Loris police are still looking for Dustin Stackhouse.

Although those are all the warrants police have obtained, Chief Vaught says they are still seeking information and there could be additional suspects.

Police believe this shooting was related to another in Tabor City where a man was found shot in his car in a church parking lot. The man survived the shooting.
