Two nightclubs have shootings overnight

FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) - Florence Police responded to shootings at two separate nightclubs early Saturday morning.

The first shooting was at Out of Bounds night club on Irby Street in Florence, said Lt. Tim Compton.

A fight started inside the club between two women, said Compton. The people involved in the fight were asked to leave.

Once in the parking lot, someone fired two to three rounds into the door of the club, said Compton.

No one was injured.

Chesley Toney, 19, of Florence was arrested for Accessory After the Fact of a Felony, said Compton.

Police do not believe Toney shot the gun, but was one of the women involved in the fight.

A second shooting at Easy Street Club happened shortly after the shooting at the Out of Bounds night club.

A fight broke out inside Easy Street Club on Darlington St. and those involved were asked to leave, said Compton.

One person was pistol whipped, and another person was shot in the doorway of the club, said Compton.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Florence Police have no suspects at this time for either shooting. They remain under investigation.
