The two suspects in the armed robbery and shooting that happened in Carolina Forest on Wednesday night have both been charged with Attempted Murder and Armed Robbery.

Thurston Hardiman, 19, of Longs, and Christopher Giddens, 19, of Florence face charges of Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder, Robbery while Armed with a Deadly Weapon, Discharging Firearms into a Dwelling and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, according to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center website.

Giddens, however, is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder.

Police are still looking for two other suspects involved in the overnight armed robbery and shooting, according to Lt. Robert Kegler with the Horry County Police Department.

The robbery and shooting led to a manhunt Wednesday night.

About 9 p.m., two people were robbed in the parking lot of the McDonald's on International Drive.

Police say the four suspects took off down Carolina Forest Boulevard, with the armed robbery victims chasing them.

"In the area of the church, a collision occurred between the two vehicles. During that time an altercation took place and the victim was shot," Kegler explained.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital Thursday.
