The Georgetown Police Department and Georgetown County Sheriff's Office arrested Dominique Grant and Amon Rutledge after a foot chase through historic downtown Georgetown on Monday.

Myrtle Beach police were looking for Grant, who is wanted for his involvement in the armed robbery of a motel on Ocean Boulevard on April 22.

Rutledge was wanted by the Drug Enforcement Unit for narcotics violations.

The Prince George Pre-school was put on lock down during the search.

Law enforcement used its alert system to call residents in the Historic District advising them of the situation.
