Two Marlboro County men arrested for shooting in Scotland County
Marlboro County, S.C. (WPDE) —
Jamal Easterling, 23, and Jacobia Thompson, 24, who were wanted in connection with shooting a man last month at Gibson Village Apartments in the Gibson area of Scotland County have been arrested, according to Scotland County Captain Earl Haywood.
The man was shot multiple times and airlifted to a hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Easterling and Thompson are each charged with attempted first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Haywood said they're still looking for Shhedrick McLean, 35, also of Marlboro County.
Haywood said McLean should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
McLean has been entered into a national database for being wanted out for North Carolina for a violent crime, according to Haywood.
If you see him, you're asked to call the Scotland County Sheriff's Office at 910-276-3385 or call 911.
The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office and Bennettsville Police Department helped in the investigation.
