Two in custody after stabbing in Horry County

Two men are in custody after a stabbing Monday night in Longs.

It happened around 7:45pm on Highway 90 in Longs.

When police arrived, they found a man had stab wounds to his upper body.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where he is currently in stable condition.

Detectives learned that the victim was stabbed by two suspects during a drug transaction.

One of the suspects was located shortly after the incident by members of the North Precinct's Community Outreach Team. The other suspect was found Tuesday afternoon and taken into custody without incident.

Trey Cox, 18, of Longs and Tevin Gause, 20, of Conway are both charged with Attempted Murder.
