Myrtle Beach police have arrested two people in connection with a carjacking that took place Monday. Krystal Elaine Cox, 26, and Ancel Ramon Harris, 18, are both charged with Attempted Murder, Carjacking, and Robbery.

A man said he gave Cox and Harris a ride to King Street to buy marijuana, according to a police report. When they got there, the man said the couple robbed him at gun point, shot a round into the air, and drove off with the car. He was not hurt.

The man walked to a nearby Carolina Trust bank to call police around 10:45 p.m. Monday, the report says.

Police tracked Cox and Harris down in Atlantic Beach around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. The two still had the man's car, according to Captain David Knipes, with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Both Cox and Harris remain in the Myrtle Beach jail and are awaiting bond hearings.
