Two arrested after four month long drug investigation

The Marion County Combined Drug Unit has arrested two people after a four month long investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine and controlled prescription medication in the Mullins area.
On October 25th, agents arrested Lorenzo Legette at his home on James Street in Mullins. He faces numerous charges, including Distribution of Crack Cocaine, Oxycodone, and Hydrocodone.
October 30th, they arrested Norman Steven Cullipher after an encounter with drug agents. He faces charges of Distribution of Oxycodone, Carisoprodol, Hydrocodone, and Fentanyl.
The drug unit says agents obtained information on the men through undercover buys, searches and surveillance.
Agents say they hope the investigation will lead to more arrests of people associated with Legette and Cullipher.
